Hey guys,

What are you up to this weekend?  We are going to head to the Insectarium which I am excited/scared for.  It will be interesting to see how the kids react.  We plan on attending the workshop where the kids get to hold the bugs and they look BIG.  Yikes….

I’ve been doing a lot of behind the scenes work with a lot of amazing women and it’s really fascinating how every family unit works differently.  It just reminds me that everyone has to find their own vibe.  Have faith in yourself and what works for you.

In other news, I’d love to hear from more people who have moved to Montreal and want to share their tips/resources/stories.  Email me if you are interested!

And lastly, I have a pretty cool giveaway on Facebook right now so be sure to check out  my page to enter!

Enjoy the weekend,

xx Michelle

These kids… it’s amazing to see how far they came.

Are the Dutch moms the most relaxed in the world?  (Plus, it made me laugh when I read that the Dutch have an aversion to curtains… now I understand why our house (previously owned by a Dutch man) has no curtains).

How much would you pay for Kurt’s cardigan?  BTW I don’t know why but that photo of him at MTV Unplugged made me feel sad.  It feels like such a different lifetime ago for me.

These bunk beds!

These shelves!

This natural optical illusion is both insane and from Saskatchewan.

This home!  (and those square tiles which seem to be everywhere!)

The world’s smallest stroller?

I’m in love with this duvet cover.

Some wallpaper I featured previously on the blog in use (and it’s stunning).

If you’re still looking for gift ideas, pretty much anything from this Toronto-based shop is amazing.

    Hi Michelle!

I live in Montreal and have been here all my life (59 years). 🙂 I have been to the insectarium, should this should be a fun adventure for you and the children. Not sure if you have ever been to this place, but I highly recommend Chalet Bar-b-q on Sherbrooke Street West, corner Girouard, in NDG. They first opened their doors in 1944 and is the best place for bar-b-q chicken in town! The ambiance is warm and friendly, the food is delicious and cooked to perfection and the service is fast and friendly.

Please feel free to visit my blog anytime and don’t be shy to leave a comment. It is family friendly. 🙂

      Hi Linda,

Thanks for writing! The Insectarium was lovely – we all held a leaf bug!

We’ve ordered from Chalet Bar-b-q but never been in person! We’ll have to go!

Thanks for the tips and I’ll definitely check out your blog!

      xx Michelle
