Bridge & Burn

I’m struggling to find clothes that don’t look like I’ve been watching Netflix all day but are still comfortable, versatile and easy-wearing.  It has to stand up to pulls and tugs and ideally ethically manufactured.  It also has to be affordable.

I think I may have found the answer with Portland-based Bridge & Burn.  Their clothing is dressed up without being dry-clean only and on-trend.

It’s also (relatively) affordable.  OK the Canadian dollar doesn’t help much, but the above dress, which I would buy tomorrow, is USD 138.  I don’t have the time or tenacity to buy myself new clothes. I want a few pieces that I love that I can wear all the time that look great.  I’m willing to invest a little money in a few great pieces than a bunch of  lousy pieces that never get pulled out.

Unfortunately, at the moment it isn’t stocked in Montreal but other Canadian cities may carry it.  You can also buy online.

What do you think?  Have you ever bought clothing from Bridge & Burn or do you have another favourite clothing line that works for your everyday?  I’d love to hear!
