I’ve long been a fan of Kristy Gardner’s fantastic blog She Eats. Her writing is witty, sharp and always makes me laugh. Her photos are gorgeous and the food is to die for. But, those cocktails… Oh my.
I asked Kristy for a fantastic holiday cocktail that would be fun and festive. This Autumnal Cinnamon Apple Whiskey Sour hits the spot, but I’ll let her tell you about it.
As soon as Fall & Winter hit, I start craving heavy sweaters, roaring fires and a whole lot of whiskey – anything to keep me warm because baby, it’s cold outside. This drink – the Autumnal Cinnamon Apple Whiskey Sour – is perfectly suited for any time during the colder months or on a Monday morning when you just need that extra pep in your step…. Not that I’m condoning alcohol consumption to add pep to your step. I’m high on life, not drugs. Or booze…. Okay, maybe booze. Warm cinnamon, tender apples and a good kick in the pants for alcohol makes the Cinnamon Apple Whiskey Sour my new best friend. If you come over within the next couple of months, you’ll probably get one of these. 10am or otherwise. Enjoy!
