What a difference a week makes.  Sunny weather lifted my mood and had me thinking happy thoughts about Montreal again.  Food truck locations were announced which is always fun.  Still no Westmount or Monkland… big surprise, but I’m still excited to check them out in St-Henri and Point-St-Charles (I have my own Twitter list you can follow).  Alex started saying mama (I swear!) and Bastien has shown us he can put on his own shoes when he really wants to.  Our backyard is getting snazzed up (we’ve put up a fence so that the kids can’t escape into the street, and blocked off big mounds of dirt) and we can’t wait to start spending more time back there.

I’m slowly getting myself off steroid drops in my eye so hopefully can stop wearing the glasses and get the sunglasses on (post on that later) and I’m having fun exploring Montreal (I went to walk by the river in Verdun for the first time!)  Alex is cuter than ever (6 months is a GREAT age) and the fresh breeze coming through the windows is so invigorating.

Listen winter, I don’t mind you, but with little kids you’re a bit of a pain in the ass – bring on summer.

This weekend you’ll find us in the park, on the streets eating ice cream and generally enjoying the sun!  I hope you enjoy it too!

Do the benefits of GMO outweigh the perceived bad?  Perhaps it’s time to rethink.

A 3-step plan for travelling with kids

Reading this cookbook and with the sunny days ahead

I wrote this article on the sacred boiled-bread.  Think I’m out to lunch?

This shocked me

I’m making this this weekend.

Such a good idea for Mother’s Day!

Stunning

Kinda all over this
