Table Runner

Green Forest Table Runner from Avril Loreti on Brika

Have you heard of Brika?  I can’t believe I just stumbled on it now.  I love Etsy, but there’s just soooo much stuff that isn’t to my taste and sometimes I find trawling through to find the few gems  is more effort than it’s worth.  That’s where Brika comes into place.  It’s an online marketplace of carefully curated modern pieces that you just want to snap up.  It’s got a Canadian connection too. One of the partners is originally from Canada and earned her BSc at McGill!  There is a Made in Canada tab you can check out to find the latest and greatest from our homegrown talent and this is where I’ve selected my fave picks.  Check it out – I promise you’ll be as blown away as I was.

A few of my fave Canadian Brika picks:

Snowshoes

Snowshoe Tea Towel by Freshly Printed

Sled

Sled Ornaments by Henderson Dry Goods

Basket Bowl

Medium Basket Bowl by Heyday Design

Pillow

Big Maple Leaf Pillow by  Nicole Tarasick

bracelet

18K Gold Plated Delicate Bracelet by Golden I Designs

earrings

Gold Glitter Triangle Earrings by Moonlight for Violet (I especially love these & they’re only $20!)

clutch

Plum Shibori Clutch by Sea & Stone

Phone Case

Mint Ombre iPhone Case by Field Trip

notebook

Basic Fig.2 Notebook by Think & Ink Studio

Isn’t it all just so pretty!

I agree that it can be a little time consuming searching through Etsy, so I think a curated shop like this is great!

Originally from the prairies and now in Montreal, I love exploring new places, eating great food and modern design. I'm mom of two wild things and paper and cake make me happy. Photographing your cutie family would make me very happy.
