Slow Cooker Maple Syrup-Ginger Chicken

An easy slow-cooker recipe that has a lovely sweet sauce. Add some veggies on the side and serve over rice.
  • 2 chicken breasts, skin removed
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • rice to serve
  • optional: sesame seeds and cut up green onion for garnish
  1. Place everything but the chicken in the slow cooker and mix.
  2. Add the chicken so it overlaps as little as possible. There's no need to cut it.
  3. Slow cook for four hours on low.
  4. Serve over rice and complete with a side of veggies.
