Now that Target has closed it’s doors, the search is on for fun party supplies. Here are a few of my favourite picks on the web.
pomtree, Ottawa, ON – This Etsy store is one of my favourites, and her curated selection of party supplies is modern and classy. Find cute paper straws in unexpected colours (gold, flowers), pom pons, tassels, and even a gender reveal confetti balloon. This is definitely my top pick on Etsy and you could use her products not only for a party but for permanent decor say in a nursery. Love it.
Gold Glitter Star Toothpicks from Festa
Festa, Montreal, QC – This Etsy shop doesn’t have a ton of options, but I like the Glitter Toothpicks.
Peach and Mint Heart Cupcake Toppers by Kiwi Tini Creations
Kiwi Tini Creations, Calgary, AB – Inventive place card holders, gift tags, and treat bags (plus more!) are all made by this Alberta native. Expect beautiful colours and cute graphics.
Confetti & Sparkle Party Shop, BC – This is a beautiful one stop shop for all things unique and trendy. They have a lot of stuff that I haven’t seen elsewhere or is a bit tougher to find like the letter balloons (shown above and available in various sizes), unique and cute party plates, beautiful wood cake toppers and glitter twine.
Modern Frill, Nelson, BC – This shop has all you want and more including adorable cookie cutters (fox anyone?), Kate Spade glitter coasters, paper plates and napkins that are so cute I want to use them EVERYDAY, these cups which I’ve wanted forever and thought they were only available in England, popcorn party buckets which would make even a Saturday in feel special, striped or rainbow wooden cutlery, or adorable party hats. Yikes – I want it all. No wonder she has a ‘My Wishlist’ functionality. Definitely one of the top stores on the web and one of the cutest! (and…. these glitter crowns are amazing!)
Omiyage, Ontario – More of a paper goods store, Omiyage originally started to share cute and clever goods from Japan that the store owners fell in love with. Dots, every kind of washi tape you could imagine (baby pandas?), origami paper, tape dispensers, tea towels and card sets are just some of the beautiful items in stock. (I can see this Deer Rubber Stamp on the back of my Christmas Cards this year!)
