Mimi Hammer is blowing me out of the water.  A reader recently recommended I check them out, and I had seen bits of them around the internet.  I was always impressed but not totally bowled over.  Their latest SS’15 collection though?  I’m in love.  And it’s all made right here in Montreal.

The prints and the colours really speak to me in a big way and I love the shapes.  I also like the fact that they offer different height waists on their bottoms so if you aren’t into the ultra high style which they are known for you have options.

They’ve also come up with this loose swimsuit top.  I wonder how it would fair when it’s wet – if it would stick to the body or still swing loosely.

They have a very convenient Bikini Mixer so you can see how the suits go together.  These are a few of my favourite options.

Now, the weather just needs to get warm enough to wear them!

Those look so cute! Thanks for sharing. What are your thoughts on the high waisted bikini bottom? What body shape do you think they suit best?

I’m not sure about the super high-waisted, but I think the other one fits pretty much all body shapes. However… these don’t come in very large sizes. I recently tried on quite a few from this company and don’t consider myself very big and I was a size medium or large. I didn’t end up getting anything because allthough I thought the suits were cute for lying on the beach, I wanted more support in the top for running after my child and bending down. I did like the look of the high waisted bottoms though.. I didn’t try on the super-high waisted bottoms.
