Middlesex Street
Ben Eine is an amazing graffiti artist and his work will be well known it anyone living in the Shoreditch area.   He basically has one concept which is letters painted on store shutters.  He has expanded to a few murals (which you’ll see below) but he has really taken this simple concept to a new level, and his art is seemingly everywhere.  He recently painted the entire alphabet on Middlesex Street (see above) and one of his paintings was recently given by David Cameron to Barack Obama.  His work is not offensive or sexist, and is fun and colourful addition to some of London’s drearier streets.  I welcome it, and love seeing a little colour wherever I go.
