Compost Blondie Brownies

- 114g unsalted butter, softened plus extra for tin
- 200g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 170g flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups filler such as a combination of chopped chocolate, nuts or candied fruit
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Grease 8"/20cm square tin with extra butter
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 1 minute)
- Add eggs, beat and make sure everything is well mixed
- Add flour and salt mix until just combined.
- With a spoon stir in filler
- Pour into greased tin and then try and smooth it out
- Bake 30-35 minutes
- Let cool on rack.
- While still warm cut into squares.
