Our home is still very much lacking in the ‘cozy’ and ‘decorated’ area of things.  A baby and other priorities have put it on the back burner.  Don’t get me wrong – we don’t have gaping holes or nails sticking out but as far as decorating goes it just hasn’t happened.  It’s kind of like we baked the cake but still have to decide on the frosting.

I find it totally overwhelming to think about decorating an entire house so it’s much easier for me to focus on one room at a time.  I loved decorating our nursery  and I’m so proud of the way it turned out.  Next I think is the kitchen.  We’ve been eating off of our outdoor table for ages waiting for the boat from Denmark to arrive with our new kitchen table from Hay.  I think it’s this one.. honestly it’s  been so long I don’t even recall.  (no – just kidding husband!  I know it’s this one in white…!)

I really wanted to stick up some prints on our brick wall until I realized it was above a staircase and we’d need a ladder that would both work on a staircase and reach up about twelve feet.

But I’m thinking we can still fit in some of these prints from Handz ReStyle shop on Etsy.  I like the punches of colour in our very white kitchen.  Cute hey?

That’s too bad – maybe they have other sizes!
