Doesn’t a beautiful bouquet of flowers just light up a room?  Flowers are so nice, but I certainly don’t purchase them very often plus I am always wondering about pesticides and working conditions which… well often makes me put those flowers back.  Waa waa

Garçon fleur is a new flower delivery service that offers an approach that respects the natural beauty of each flower by selecting flowers according to season and favouring local products.  They have their own garden of wildflowers and encourage producers to respect each flowers seasonality.  All packaging is biodegradable and it’s delivered… by bike!  Plus – aren’t their bouquets just stunning?

In addition to the usual events and one off bouquets they offer a couple other neat options.  You can subscribe to a flower delivery service and have flowers delivered once a month for two months ($60), six months ($175), or all year long ($325).  They also have an option to have flowers delivered with fresh croissants on Saturday morning (from the lovely Villeray bakery Mlles Gâteaux) or with a bottle of private import wine Thursday evenings (yes please!)

The delivery zone right now encompasses Sherbrooke, Crémazie, Parc at St-Michel but there are plans to expand next spring.  If you would like delivery in NDG or Westmount there is a $10 extra charge.

What a great idea!

ps What a fantastic gift idea…
