Yes, spring and yes it’s sugar shack time!

For those of us who can’t head out of town please do check out these two sugar shacks which are both located along the waterfront in Old Montreal.  I wrote articles on them both for Urban Expressions that are much more detailed but I just wanted to let you all know about them here.

stewLa Cabane is in it’s fifth year and this year a chef from year of the last five years (two from one of the years) has offered a dish.  These include Helena Loureiro, Danny St. Pierre, Patrice Demers, Marc-André Jetté and Martin Juneau.

7 - LG Making DesertChef Laurent Godbout of Chez L’Épicier is this years “Un Chef à l’érable” at Scena in the Jacques-Cartier Pavillion.

Both places are done up quite cosy, and I’m sure the food is great at both so it’s now just up to you guys to decide!

Originally from the prairies and now in Montreal, I love exploring new places, eating great food and modern design. I'm mom of two wild things and paper and cake make me happy. Photographing your cutie family would make me very happy.
